Almaty Hosts Presentation of the Novel “Eternal Voice”
On July 11, 2025 at 4:00 PM, a book presentation for the novel Eternal Voice by Uyghur writer Talat Baki Mollahaji Oghli was held at the “Korgan” Café in Almaty. The event was organized by the Kazakhstan branch of the International Uyghur PEN Center (Uyghur PEN), in collaboration with the Uyghur PEN Center and the “Ghulja Yoli” Meshrep community in Almaty. The author dedicated the book to the memory of his friends, comrades, and relatives who gave their lives in the struggle for freedom and independence. The novel recounts the brutal political movements that took place in the Uyghur homeland during the 1950s and 1960s, under slogans such as “Thought Reform,” “Steel and Iron Smelting,” and the “Great Leap Forward of China.” Through the life of its protagonist, Ablet, the work captures the suffering, pain, and grave socio-political upheavals endured by the Uyghur people, brought about by the countless persecutions, massacres, and atrocities committed by the communist colonial authorities. The ceremony was moderated by young poet Abduljan Aznabaqiev. Alisher Helilov, Secretary-General of the International Uyghur PEN Center and Director of the “MIR” Publishing House, addressed the audience, outlining the book’s publishing process. Vil’yam Molotov, board member of the Uyghur PEN Center and leader of the “Ghulja Yoli” Meshrep, spoke about the author’s biography and the publication of the novel in Kazakhstan. The book’s editor, Rexmetzhan Ghojemberdiev, emphasized the work’s contemporary relevance. Prominent intellectuals, including Jemshit Rozaxunov, Awut Mesimov, Hakimjan Guliev, Aznat Talipov, Yoldash Molotov, and Rexmetjan Yüsüpov, took part in the event and expressed their deep appreciation for the work. Almutida «Menggülük Sada» Romani Tonushturuldi
Éqimdiki yilning yettinchi éyining 11-küni kech sa’et 16 de Almuta shehiridiki “Korgan” kafiside Uyghur yazghuchisi Talet Baki Mollahaji Oghlining «Menggülük Sada» namliq romanigha bëghishlanghan kitap tonushturush murasimi bolup ötti. Bu murasimni ötküzüsh teshebbusini Xelqaraliq Uyghur Qelemkeshler merkezining (Uyghur PEN) Qazaqstandiki shöbisi kötürgen bolup, uyushturghuchilar süpitide Uyghur PEN-merkezi we Almutidiki «Ghulja yoli» meshrep ehli heriket qildi. Muellip bu kitapa hörluk we erkinlik üchün küreshte qurban bolghan dost-yaren, we qërindashlirining exatirsige bëghishlighan bolup, uningda ötken esirning 50 we 60- yillirida ana wetinimizda yürgüzülgen «Istil’ tüzitish», «Polat-choyun tawlash», «Sekrep cong ilgirilesh» qatarliq namlar bilen élip bérilghan shepqetsiz siyasi herketler teswirlengen. Kommunistlar mustemlikichilerining sansizlighan teqip, qirghinchiliqliri hem qatilliqlirigha uchrighan xelqimizning beshigha chüshken külpetliri, azap-oqubetliri we shu dewirning keskin siyasiy -ijtimaiy mesililiri roman qehrimani Abletning teghdiri arqiliq ipadilinidu. Mezkür chare-tedbirning modëratori yash shair Abduljan Aznabaqiev boldi. Yighinda söz alghan xalqara uyghur PEN-merkizining bash katiwi, «MIR» neshriyat öyining mudiri Alisher Helilov kitapning neshir qilinish jeryanlirini paaliyet ishtirakchillirigha tonushturdi. Uyghur PEN-merkizining idare heyiti ezasi we «Ghulja yoli» meshrepining rehbiri Wil’yam Molotow söz nowitini elip, eserning muellipi toghrisidiki biografik melumatlar we romanning Qazaqstanda neshr qilinishi heqqide doklad berdi. Kitapning muherriri Rexmetzhan Ghojemberdiev eserning bügünki tangdiki ehmiyitini alahide atap ötti. Mezkür ish-charige Jemshit Rozaxunov, Awut Mesimov, Hakimjan Guliev, Aznat Talipov, Yoldash Molotow, Rexmetjan Yüsüpov qatarliq ziyalilar ishtiraq qilip, alliy ëhtiramlirini bildürdi. Uyghur PEN merkizining idaret hey’et bashliqi, ataghliq ressam doktor Hakimjan Guliev we ataqliq yazghuchi Hemit Hemraev muellipni qizghin tebriklep, uninggha xatire süpitide Uyghur milliy toni we doppisini hediye qildi. Muellip öz nowitide murasimni uyushturghuchilargha hem kitapni neshir qilishta emgek qilghan barliq kishilerge yürek sölirini éytip, öz razilighini izhar qildi. Bu murasim axirida hemme mëhmanlar birlikte aq destixan etrapida olturshup, erkin muhakime we qizghin söhbetlirini dawamlashturdi.
